The Hellion is a mechanical unit that is similar in appearance to Vultures, but mounts a flamethrower like a Firebat and rides on four wheels instead of hovering. The fire is presented in a beam, and hurts any unit caught in it. The Hellion is a very mobile quad buggy with an overhead mounted flamethrower, whose primary role is support for the main Terran army.

The fast movement speed of the Hellion allows it to quickly chase down retreating opponents, or to readily escape an unfavorable situation. Hellion II, the enchanced version of Hellion has an increased speed and more heavy armor, which makes this unit almost invulnerable to laser and missile attacks.
